C-Sticking

Postby Storm39 » Thu Jul 23, 2009 11:17 pm

How often do you use the C-Stick?

I use it when I'm using smashes to rack up damage or if I need to use one quickly, but I usually perform smashes the regular way if I'm trying to kill my opponent.

I never ever use the C-Stick. I see now need to, since regular smashes are so simple to execute.

Nope. Mainly because it's just more convenient to use the control stick and A. Smashing with the C-stick involves moving your thumb away from A and then back again. But you can just keep your thumbs where they are and use the control stick and A. I'm so used to control stick + A, at this point, using the C-stick feels awkward.

Sometimes. I find the C-stick moves to be more time consuming thus wasting time to rack up more damage. Also, if you miss then God help your soul. Educate;

I tend to use it quite a bit. Charging a smash usually takes too much time and the window of opportunity to strike someone is lost and I just get hit. Trust me, without the C-Stick, I can never down smash anyone. >_>

Tell me exactly why we would flame you for your playing style.

And I would say never, but accidentally would count as using it...

Well, I think there is a bit of a use for c-stick, but it is what I call a desperate move. It is like kicking the ball in volleyball, it is one of those things you ony do if you seriously can't think of anything else to do.

Of course, this means I use c-stick next to never. To be honest, I usually forget it is even there. Since I use it so little, often if there would be an appropriate time to use it, the move isn't really registered as an option in my repertoire.
