Wow, this was a trip down memory lane. Currently I'm questioning myself if I flashed back to the cigarette memory in a dream a few weeks ago or if I'm simply fooling myself. Probably the latter, especially since this isn't a typical déjà vu trigger. Star posted the link to this post on Skype and I was stunned. The memories came flying back! I had to obtain some hard-to-access yearbooks in my difficult-to-traverse room to find any lasting photos of both Corey and Chris as neither seem to be on Facebook. Also, this is the first time ever, I believe, that I've used the attachment feature of FreeForums. I didn't want to upload them to PhotoBucket or anything and luckily, I was able to insert them into the post so they would still display. (Pointless to learn old features now, but whatever.)

Corey
The photo above is the only one I have of this curious man and it is from my freshman yearbook. Corey was not pictured in my sophomore yearbook, and he did not appear after a certain point during that year, but he received a diploma at graduation, leading me to believe he was at the ceremony to finally "exit" high school but he only received a GED later on, or something to that effect. He had stayed back 3 times prior to my freshman year of high school, and during sophomore year there was gossip amongst my chorus friends that "this was the last possible year for 'that creepy Corey kid' since he's turning 22 this year." I think the last time I saw him was after a talent show or some sort of play in the old high school's Little Theatre in my junior year. I remember briefly hugging him and feeling extremely uncomfortable; he had green or red hair at the time. At least he was nice to me in school and I didn't hang out with him outside of school. I remember our teacher saying in confidence at some point that he had a good voice but he wouldn't unlock his potential.

Chris
This photo is from my sophomore yearbook; at least Chris graduated with a real diploma. I can't remember for sure but I believe he stayed back 1 year earlier on in his schooling. I think I might have seen Chris on the streets in town during the day 2 or 3 years ago. He might have a kid, but I'm not sure if I'm remembering that rumor correctly either. Several kids that I graduated with are now having children, so it's hard to remember the young parents of earlier classes. This guy most of the time would mouth the words and not sing at all, or sometimes not even go through the motions. He would actually produce pitch on the occasion our teacher would call him out for not singing, and only after claiming with an anxiety in his voice that he REALLY was singing! Those pitches... yikes.
