Bob Seger: Greatest Hits CD on Artpad

Postby Chuey » Sun Jan 04, 2009 7:24 pm

I didn't take down when I started but HOLY. CRAP. Probably took me an hour and 30 minutes to do this. If you've been to Live Chat you've heard of this art website: http://www.artpad.art.com. Well, on it I made two more paintings of the smileys on NSC, then I decided to do something WICKED hard. My mom got this CD, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band: Greatest hits around the holidays. Well, she was listening to it around noon getting ready to head out. Gotta love that old time rock and roll NS;) Well, the song struck me-- THAT was my artpad masterpiece to be formed. Here's a picture of the actual CD:

Here's what I did on Artpad, do note when I started the train tracks my computer lagged, as well as the paintbrush:

...Criticize me however you want. This is one of my greatest pieces of art ever. And of all on an art system like this. Of course I was looking at the CD but still. I know some parts aren't the most accurate, but I really could care less of such ridiculous views. I know a lot of people could do this if they really tried, but I really gave it my all. I'm really impressed and very proud of this one painting.

(watch the actual painting of this piece, you can tell how long it took)

With the lag my computer had that would have been virtually impossible. ._. But with that aside, your thoughts on the painting?

Meh, It's alright. From experience I know drawing with a mouse is hard to do. (See the Christmas sub series of Zip and Zap… which I will finish… eventually)
